My ethos.

I work with adults and adolescents who seek therapy for a variety of reasons, and specialize in working with those who identify as queer or non-monogamous. The folks I see often experience challenges that stem from these identities, as well as more generalized issues like anxiety and relationship conflicts.

My practice integrates elements of both psychodynamic psychotherapy and somatic work. I’m interested in understanding how your lifetime of experiences impacts your ways of thinking and being today. My approach to relationship therapy incorporates elements of psychodynamic, somatic, and systems theories.

I'm particularly familiar with feelings of “otherness” - disconnection from society at large, loved ones, and self. I offer psychotherapy sessions as safe spaces where I help my clients confront these feelings and work to understand themselves, their worlds and their behaviors better.

I approach treatment with an appreciation for the diverse range of identities and worldviews held by my clients, and make room for their full expression during sessions. I welcome clients of all races and racial identities, countries of origin, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, and body sizes.

My Background

I graduated from Columbia School of Social Work in 2014 with concentrations in both clinical practice and program development. After several years in the nonprofit sector I joined Rose Hill Psychological Services, a psychoanalytic group practice and training center. I completed my post-graduate clinical training at Rose Hill, where I also served as Quality Assurance Director and developed/implemented robust MSW Internship and Continuing Education programs. In September 2022 I launched my hybrid virtual/in-person private practice out of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, where I see individuals and partners and offer specialized supervision in working dynamically with alternative genders, sexualities, and lifestyles. I received further psychoanalytic training at the William Alanson White Institute, where I completed the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program (IPPP) and Couples Therapy Training and Education Program (CTTEP). I’m also pursuing training in Somatic Experiencing, with anticipated certification in 2026. I love teaching as much as I love learning and am adjunct faculty at Columbia School of Social Work, where I teach a course on advanced clinical practice with LGBTQ individuals & couples.

I’d love to help you learn about yourself.
