Team
An incredible team of Interns and Peer Support Specialists bolsters my capacity to provide accessible mental health services.
Peer Support Specialists
In the United States, healthcare under capitalism has created often insurmountable barriers to accessing care. Our institutionalized systems of education and licensure function as gatekeepers to healing, while the practices of mutual aid and community care are marginalized. Peer Support offers an alternative to this colonial system: care is provided by community members who have accumulated wisdom through both institutional and informal learning, and services are made accessible through sliding scale rates ranging from $25-$100. My name is Mohsin Kazim (they/them) and I am a Peer Support Specialist based in Brooklyn, NY. My work is grounded in holistic care and support from a person-centered, decolonial lens. Living and operating within oppressive systems, especially when holding more progressive and radical values, can often feel contradictory and isolating. As a Peer Support Specialist, I facilitate an affirming, collaborative environment where we can navigate some of these contradictions, while also exploring issues surrounding identity, relationships, and self-esteem.
My goal in our work is to be an active listener and co-conspirator who helps you to feel seen and fulfilled through our work. I have experience working directly with queer & BIPOC communities, children of immigrants, activists, students, and young working professionals. I am excited to work with individuals of these backgrounds and experiences, as well as with those who are navigating life transitions, dealing with high-stress environments, or exploring support/counseling with a sense of curiosity.
I have completed one year of my Master's in Social Work here in New York City. As someone who is committed to an anti-racist, gender/sexuality-affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed approach, I encourage you to bring all parts of yourself to our sessions; our time together is the place to express and experiment with every part of what makes you, you!

Clinical Interns
I received my supervision certification (SIFI) from Columbia School of Social Work in 2018 and have founded and developed internship programs in both nonprofit administration and clinical mental health practice settings. As a psychotherapist in private practice I now supervise clinical mental health interns from Masters-level social work and mental health counseling programs. All interns see clients on a sliding scale from $25-$125 based primarily on income and factoring in major financial commitments (student loans, dependents, etc.). Brittany Zenner, MHC-I
Credentials: Counselor-in-Training
Education: Currently in a Master’s of Education in Mental Health Counseling at Lindsey Wilson College
I approach counseling from a humanistic and existential lens. I believe that we are all born whole and are looking to reclaim that wholeness, that we each have inherent worth and untapped potential. My goal is to offer a supportive space where clients can explore their authentic selves and, if relevant, navigate complex relationship dynamics.
As a counselor committed to providing affirming and inclusive mental health support, I am looking to work with:
Individuals within the polyamory and kink communities
Queer clients exploring identity, relationships, and personal growth
Those navigating ethical non-monogamous and alternative relationship structures
LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking support and self-discovery
Clients exploring complex relationship dynamics
Individuals seeking personal growth and meaningful connection
I am dedicated to supporting clients in developing healthy, consensual, and fulfilling relationships while honoring their unique experiences and identities. In collaboration with my clients, I intend to deeply respect individual lived experiences, help clients explore personal meaning and self-actualization, and support them in understanding their choices and relationships. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic environment where clients can authentically explore their inner world and interpersonal dynamics.
I offer a safe, affirming space where you can explore your authentic self, relationships, and identity. I am currently under the professional supervision of Alissa Silverstein, LCSW, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and competent clinical practice.
